Safari through the south, the central parts and the northern part of Namibia.
Day 1 :Arrival at the Windhoek Hosea Kutako International Airport in beautiful Namibia. Pick up your rented vehicle at the car rental kiosk in the airport building. Alternatively, your ONDESE guide will welcome you here. Drive to town and overnight in an elegant room of Hotel Heinitzburg.
Day 2 : Drive south via Rehoboth and Kalkrand to the Kalahari Anib Lodge, situated in a privately-owned game reserve on the edge of the southern Kalahari. Overnight here in rooms.
Day 3: An early departure via Mariental and Keetmanshoop will bring you to the Quiver Tree Forest and then on via the Naute dam to the spectacular Fish River Canyon. Overnight here in a chalet at the Cañon Lodge.
Day 4: Today, visit the famous Fish River Canyon, a vast, deep and convoluted incision in the rugged landscape. Accommodation as on the previous day.
Day 5: Drive west via Aus through the picturesque southern Namib Desert and the restricted Diamond Area to the little harbour town of Lüderitzbucht. Overnight in a room at the Protea Hotel Zum Sperrgebiet - Sea View.
Day 6: Visit the ghost town of Kolmannskuppe, Dias Point and the surrounding bays. Accommodation as on the previous day.
Day 7: Drive inland through the desert to see the wild horses at Garub and continue via Aus through breathtaking landscapes of the Neisip and Tiras plains to Guest Farm Sinclair north of Helmeringhausen. Overnight here in rooms.
Day 8: Today you can visit the legendary Duwisib Castle. Drive along the edge of the Namib Desert through beautiful desert landscapes to the Kulala Desert Lodge, situated just south of Sesriem. Overnight here in luxury tents with en-suite facilities.
Day 9: Rising early to see the subtle colours of the morning sun over the world's highest dunes at Sossusvlei is definitely worthwhile. Later, visit the interesting Sesriem Canyon. Accommodation as on the previous day.
Day 10: After having acquired a permit at Sesriem, drive via Solitair, the Tropic of the Capricorn, the Gaub and Kuiseb passes through the Namib-Naukluft Park to see ancient welwitschia plants and the Moon Landscape. Continue to the charming coastal town of Swakopmund and in a room overnight at Hansa Hotel.
Day 11: Today, you can spend the day in and around Swakopmund. Study the imposing architecture of the German colonial period, visit the lagoon of Walvis Bay. Accommodation as on the previous day.
Day 12: After breakfast, drive along the coast via Henties Bay to the seal colony at Cape Cross and then inland through the Namib Desert via Uis and past the Brandberg to see the age-old rock engravings at Twyfelfontein, a world heritage site. Overnight here in luxury tents with en-suite facilities at the Mowani Mountain Camp.
Day 13: Visit the Petrified Forest and drive via Khorixas to the impressive Rock Finger (Vingerklip). Continue via Outjo to the Ongava Game Lodge, situated south of the renowned Etosha National Park in a private game reserve. Enjoy your own or guided game-viewing activities in the central-western part of Etosha. Overnight in chalets at the lodge.

Day 14: Take a game drive along the marked roads of the central and eastern part of Etosha in your rented vehicle. If you are on a guided safari, your guide can explain animal behaviour, population dynamics, habitat and food preferences, and more. Visit the historical Fort Namutoni. Overnight in comfortable chalets of the Etosha Aoba Lodge, situated outside the park.
Day 15: Game drives in eastern Etosha. Large numbers of antelope, giraffe and zebra - and the predators that stalk them, and huge, dusty elephants against the backdrop of the vast Etosha Pan are characteristic of the days in the park. Accommodation as on the previous day.
Day 16: Visit Lake Oshikoto and drive via Tsumeb and Grootfontein into the communal land of the Okavango Region and continue to Rundu. Overnight here in rooms at the Kaisosi River Lodge, offering a view of the Okavango River.
Day 17: Drive along the Okavango River via Andara and Divundu to the Divava Okavango Lodge, situated at the Popa Rapids on the banks of the River. Overnight in chalets, each with en-suite facilities.
Day 18: Visit the Mahango section of the Bwabwata National Park. You may see elephant, buffalo, lechwe, sable and roan antelope, perhaps even lion. Accommodation as on the previous day.
Day 19: Today, drive west and south again via Rundu and Grootfontein to visit the world's largest meteorite on Farm Hoba, and then continue to Guest Farm Ghaub. Overnight here in a room.
Day 20: In the course of the day, drive via Otjiwarongo (here you might visit a crocodile farm) and Okahandja back to the Namibian capital, Windhoek. Overnight here in a room at Villa Verdi.
Day 21: Return your rented vehicle at the Hosea Kutako International Airport or allow your guide to transfer you from town to the airport for your flight out.
