25 Days (South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe)
Safari from Cape Town thorugh the Kalahari to Namibia and Northern Botswana to the Victoria Falls.
Day 1 : Arrival at the Cape Town International Airport in beautiful South Africa. Your guide welcomes you here, or pick up your rented vehicle. Drive to town and overnight in a room at Villa Lutzi at the foot of Table Mountain in the South African mother city.
Day 2 : Today, visit Cape Point at the Cape of Good Hope and the Table Mountain in the South African mother city. Accommodation as on the previous day.
Day 3 : Your drive leads you north along the coast and via Clanwilliam to the coastal town of Lambert's Bay. Overnight here in a room at the Lambert's Bay Hotel on the Atlantic coast.
Day 4 : Enjoy the day on the beach. Accommodation as on the previous day.
Day 5 : After breakfast, drive through a part of the Karoo into the northern part of the Cape Province via Vanrhynsdorp to Springbok. (This area is especially attractive during the flowering season.) Overnight outside of town in a room at Naries Namaqua Retreat.
Day 6 : Drive via Pofadder to the Augrabies Falls on the Orange River (Gariep). Overnight in a chalet at the State-owned Augrabies Falls Rest Camp. Visit the impressive waterfalls and the park.
Day 7 : Today, drive via Upington north into the southern Kalahari and the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park which is shared by South Africa and Botswana. Overnight in a chalet at the Sate-owned Twee Rivieren Rest Camp inside the park.
Day 8 : Own or guided game drives on the provided for roads only along the Nossob River in this unique southern Kalahari park. Accommodation as on the previous day.
Day 9 : Exit South Africa at the border crossings Rietfontein / Klein Menasse to Namibia and drive via Koës to the Quiver Tree Forest and continue via Keetmanshoop and the Naute Dam to the breathtaking Fish River Canyon. Overnight in the area of the canyon in a chalet at the Cañon Lodge.
Day 10 : Today, visit the famous Fish River Canyon, a vast, deep and convoluted incision in the rugged landscape. Your drive takes you via Seeheim to Bethanien and on through arid landscapes to Guest Farm Sinclair north of Helmeringhausen. Overnight in a room at this typical Karakul farm.
Day 11 : After breakfast, visit the legendary Schloss (Castle) Duwisib and drive on the edge of the desert through breathtaking landscapes to the Kulala Desert Lodge, which is situated just south of Sesriem. Overnight here in a tent with en-suite facilities.
Day 12 : Visit the world's highest dunes at Sossusvlei in the early morning and later the interesting Sesriem Canyon. Accommodation as on the previous day.
Day 13 : Acquire a permit at the office of the Ministry of Environment & Tourism at Sesriem and drive via the Gaub and Kuiseb passes through the Namib-Naukluft Park and visit the Welwitschia plains and Moon Landscape. Overnight in a room at the Strand Hotel in the charming coastal town of Swakopmund.


Day 14 : In the morning, you visit the Seal Colony at Cape Cross and in the afternoon the lagoon at Walfish Bay. Accommodation as on the previous day.
Day 15 : After breakfast, drive along the coast via Henties Bay and inland through the Namib Desert via Uis to visit the rock painting of the so-called “White Lady” in the Brandberg and then continue to see the age-old rock engravings at Twyfelfontein, a world heritage site. Overnight here in a room at the Twyfelfontein Country Lodge.
Day 16 : Visit the Petrified Forest and drive via Khorixas to the impressive Rock Finger (Vingerklip). Continue via Outjo to the famous Etosha National Park. Overnight in a room at the State-owned Okaukuejo Resort, situated inside the Park. Enjoy your own or guided game-viewing activities in the central-western part of Etosha. Floodlit waterhole is available.
Day 17 : Game drives in central-western Etosha. Large numbers of antelope, giraffe and zebra - and the predators that stalk them, and huge, dusty elephants against the backdrop of the vast Etosha Pan are characteristic of the days in the park. Accommodation as on the previous day.
Day 18 : Take a game drive along the marked roads of the central and eastern part of Etosha in your rented vehicle. If you are on a guided safari, your guide can explain animal behaviour, population dynamics, habitat and food preferences, and more. Visit the historical Fort Namutoni. Overnight in a comfortable room at the Kempinski Mokuti Lodge, situated outside the park.
Day 19 : Visit Lake Oshikoto and drive via Tsumeb and Grootfontein into the communal land of the Okavango Region and continue to Rundu. Overnight here in a room at the Kavango River Lodge, offering beautiful views of the area.
Day 20 : Drive along the Okavango River via Andara and Divundu to the Ndhovu Safari Lodge, situated south of the Popa Rapids on the banks of the River. Overnight in a tent with en-suite facilities.
Day 21 : Visit the Mahango section of the Bwabwata National Park. You may see elephant, buffalo, lechwe, sable and roan antelope, perhaps even lion. Accommodation as on the previous day.
Day 22 : Today you are going to drive through the Caprivi part of the Bwabwata National Park into the eastern Caprivi Strip on to Katima Mulilo. Drive on via Ngoma border post to Botswana and enter the famous Chobe National Park. Drive on to Kasane and overnight in a room at the Chobe Safari Lodge, situated on the banks of the Chobe River. Book your own game drives or boat cruises in the Chobe National Park.
Day 23 : Own or guided game drives in the Chobe National Park. Accommodation as on the previous day.
Day 24 : Drive via Kazungula to Zimbabwe and on to the town of Victoria Falls. Overnight in a room at the Rainbow Hotel. Visit to the falls, the "smoke that thunders".
Day 25 : Return your rented vehicle at the Victoria Falls Airport or your guide will bid you farewell here. Fly home.
