Safari in Namibia to the Etosha National Park, the Ovamboland, Ruacana and the North-Western areas.
Day 1 : Arrival at the Windhoek Hosea Kutako Internationalen Airport in beautiful Namibia. Pick up your rented four-wheel driven vehicle or your guide will welcome you here. Drive to town. Overnight in an elegant room at Olive Grove Guest House.
Day 2 : After breakfast, drive north via Okahandja to the Waterberg Wilderness Lodge, situated at the Waterberg. Spend the day here with a walk on the plateau. Overnight here in a room.
Day 3 : Drive via Rietfontein to the largest meteorite on earth of Farm Hoba close to Grootfontein and continue to Guest Farm Ghaub, situated on the premises of a former mission station amongst mountains. Overnight here in a room.
Day 4 : Today, drive via the mining town of Tsumeb, where you can visit the museum, to Lake Oshikoto and on to the famous Etosha National Park. Game drives in your own vehicle or with your guide in the eastern part of Etosha. If you are on a guided safari, your guide can explain animal behaviour, population dynamics, habitat and food preferences, and more. Visit the historical Fort Namutoni. Overnight in a chalet at the comfortable Mushara Lodge, situated outside the park.
Day 5 : Game drives in eastern Etosha. Large numbers of antelope, giraffe and zebra - and the predators that stalk them, and huge, dusty elephants against the backdrop of the vast Etosha Pan are characteristic of the days in the park. Accommodation as on the previous day.
Day 6 : Your game drive will lead you in the morning to the Andoni plains. Exit the park through the King Nehale Gate and drive through the communal area of the Ovamboland with its wide plains dotted with Makalani palms and traditional homesteads. Visit the interesting museum at Olukonda. Continue via Ondangwa to Oshakati. Overnight here in a room at the Oshakati Country Lodge. During the afternoon, visit the lively markets of the town.
Day 7 : Drive through the characteristic landscapes of the Ovamboland to Ruacana on the Kunene River and visit the waterfall. Overnight in a room at Kunene River Lodge in eastern Kaokoland.
Day 8 : Spend the day with your hosts and the activities on offer (which should be booked and paid by you directly). Accommodation as on the previous day.

Day 9 : Today, drive again via Ruacana south via Kamanjab to the Huab Lodge, situated in a private nature conservation area in the Damaraland. Overnight in a generous chalet.
Day 10 : Spend the day with your hosts and the offered guided walks and game drives in this unique area. Accommodation as on the previous day.
Day 11 : After breakfast, drive via Fransfontein and Khorixas to Namibia's highest mountain, the Brandberg. Visit the age-old rock painting, the "White Lady". The walk from the parking area to the painting and back takes more than two hours. Continue via Uis and Omaruru to the Erongo Wilderness Lodge, situated in the wonderful Erongo Mountains. Guided walks can be booked and paid for directly at the lodge. Overnight here in a luxury tent with en-suite facilities.
Day 12 : Spend the day with relaxing walks and enjoy the many beautiful sights of the Erongo. Relax at the pool of the lodge. Accommodation as on the previous day.
Day 13 : In the course of the morning, drive via Omaruru and Wilhelmstal to Okahandja, where you can visit an interesting market. Continue via the capital Windhoek to the Eningu Clay-House Lodge, situated on the edge of the Kalahari. Overnight here in a clay house.
Day 14 : A day room is included today. Enjoy the red Kalahari landscape. In the late afternoon, return your rented vehicle at the Hosea Kutako International Airport or your guide will bid you farewell, before you fly home.
